Guild raffle - discuss Empty
PostSubject: Guild raffle - discuss   Guild raffle - discuss Icon_minitimeThu May 01, 2008 9:25 pm

Hello guys

It is time to make a new kind of raffle

slots will be cheaper and there will be a lot more slots

the idea ( from New.A ) is 50 slots and about 1 fg each

who would be interested in a guild raffle? and do you have any additionnal idea ?

He suggested that if nobody get the lucky number , then it goes to the pot for a new raffle ?
dunno but who will decide the number and between how much and how much ?

maybe we could make a raffle like in d2jsp

3 numbers between 1 and 10

example: 5 - 1 - 9

or maybe 1 and 20 , again it depends on how many slots ^^

I'm holding the fg so I won't play and I can decide of a random number and see if anyone has picked it or not

well, just let me know Smile

I am hardly FOR it Wink
My ideas are just to have it cheap, because not everyone is rich in fgs, and I understands it..

If

3 Numbers in a ticket:
If the prizes are for 1-3 matching numbers, then it will makes sense..
Because if someone will have to got 3 matching numbers then there is a lot of possibilities from around 10 or even 20 numbers in a ticket..

So...

My ideas:

#1 50-xx Slots, Each ticket 1fg
#2 25-35 Slots, Each ticket 2fg

#2 - The numbers you will have to type is from 1-12, 3 of them on one ticket.
One matching number - 15% of the pot (depends of how many people will have same numbers)
Two matching numbers - 35% of the pot (depends of how many people will have same numbers)
All the matching numbers (3 numbers) - 50-100% of the pot or all the lefts fgs (depends of how many people have got one, two or three numbers)

Example:

The pot - 50fgs (25slots)
One person have got one matching number - (15% of 50fgs = 7.5fg)
Two persons have got two matching numbers - (30% of 50fgs = 15fg)
One person have got all three matching numbers - (This time just the left fgs - 50fg-22.5fg=27.5fg)

Example 2:

The pot - 50fgs (25slots)
One person have got one matching number - (15% of 50fgs = 7.5fg)
Two persons have got all three matching numbers - (Left fgs (50-7.5fg=42.5fg) 42.5/2=21.25fg each person)

Heh I know it is quite hard to understands, but it is just my idea albino scratch

EDIT:

Ohhh my head jocolor

hmm I've been thinking about this ^^

I guess it won't be slots but everyone can buy whenever he wants and I'll close the raffle every week Wink

I'll pick up 3 numbers at the beginning , between 1 and 20

you send the fg, putting your numbers on the topic

and everyweek, I'll say who won, I'll give the give if there're matches numbers etc..

if nobody wins or what is left will got on the next pot !

I'll start the pot with 25 fg that I'll put into it , each ticket will cost you 2 or 3 fg

so I'm asking

1) 2 or 3 fg the ticket ?
2) numbers between 1 and 20 ?
3) I keep the same number until someone wins ? or I change it everyweek ?

thanks Smile

But will U pay for any matching numbers? Like 1 or 2? Or it has to be all 3?
Number 1-20 I prefer, will be harder to find 1-50 ^^
Price each ticket - 2fgs, but more slots right?
My opinion.. cheers

well My idea was , to keep it running and fun ^^ , to not make a slots limit

so you can purchase as much tickets as you want and I'll change the number every week so the winner(s) get omething if they win by the end of the week !

if I do it that way , it would be between 1 and 20 ( I change every week, even if anybody won Smile )

I'll post it that way ^^ sounds fun !

come and play guys !
